DSI Want US To Cancel Infamous Ex-Monk’s Visa

The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) has asked the US to cancel the visa for shamed former monk Luang Pu Nenkham . It is believed he is presently in America.

The allegations against the former monk include the offenses under Thai criminal law of statutory rape of a minor and public fraud.

Sources from Ubpon Ratchathani Prachoom University confirmed yesterday they will meet on 26 July to discuss whether the honorary doctorate conferred on the former monk in 2010 should be revoked in light of the allegations.
