US Embassy Highlights

by admin on March 20, 2009

The US Embassy in Bangkok has engaged in a new get-tough policy in 2009. Consular officers are now requesting many Thai nationals to participate in their visa interview in the English language only. This, of course, presents a problem when the visa applicant does not speak English well. Applicants for K1 visas and K3 visas be warned.

The US Embassy has also been requesting additional evidence concerning proof of relationship with regard to fiancée and marriage visa applications. Persons applying for visas should take due care.
