US Govt. Accused of “Diplomatic Impropriety” Over Matvienko Visa

by admin on August 31, 2015

Russia’s lower house speaker Sergei Naryshkin has accused the US State department of “diplomatic impropriety” after Valentina Matvienko, the speaker of Russia’s upper house of parliament was granted a limited US visa, apparently making her forthcoming UN conference impossible, reports Sputnik.

Matvienko was due to head Russia’s delegation to the 4TH World Conference of Speakers of Parliament at the UN headquarters.

Naryshkin told reporters on Friday:

“I cannot but address another rudeness on the part of the US State Department. The limits and standards of diplomatic impropriety are being set today in Washington.

“Such a shameless violation of international law as the decision of US authorities to impose visa restrictions on the Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko is just another example of this.”

US visa attorneys in Thailand Chaninat and Leeds have decades of experience handling US visas and USA Immigration for Thai nationals.
